Robert W. Barker’s writing skills were initially noticed in the sixth grade when a poem he wrote was published in the National Scholastic Magazine. He is an alumni of Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio and attendee of Antioch College and various other institutions of higher learning that shaped his formal education. Ohio-born yet world-trained, Robert traveled many of the Earth's well-known spots and back roads, from Istanbul to Cincinnati.
Robert’s additional lifetime travel experience and anthropological studies from Rome to Bangkok garnered a unique International perspective. Entertainer, writer, entrepreneur, professional photographer and world traveler, his various occupations rounded out his education and experience. Having lived in Europe and many places in the USA, Mr. Barker now resides behind the Red Wood Curtain in Eureka, California.
